Holiday Scented Pine Cones for the Fireplace

Better get working on these quick! They take a month to cure in a garbage bag!
They make your home smell amazing though when you toss them into a crackling fire. Or you can just leave them out sitting in a pretty bowl to scent your home. They make great gifts too!

About 2 pounds of pine cones
1/2 pound of cinnamon sticks
4-6 oz dried orange peels
Essential Oils
Large garbage bag

Take a glass bowl and add equal parts of cinnamon oil and sweet orange oil, (about 2 ounces each) then add a dash each of a few of your favorites choosing from the following: cedarwood, pine, frankinsence, myrrh, and clove.

Tie up in a garbage bag and shake every couple days. It will be ready in about four weeks.
